hey all!!
Wow so I had reallly fun weekend! friday I just did homework and hung around with a bunch of friends, i was super productive. not. anyway, saturday was the best. i got to sleep in thank goodness! i actuayll did homework but then I went to my friend Julie's for a party. hehehehhehehehehehhe IT WAS FANTASTIC :D haha and then Iw ent to go see "No String Attached". I SERIOUSLY recommend it! it was fantastic :) wow I used fantastic twice. It's sad that I can talk about using at twice but I won't go back and change it. I'm lazy. And today I decided to write a who,le different paper for English, thank goodness only a rough draft is due. And then just hung out with Lindsey and Alisha.
So this is going to be a super short post, i'm sorry. But I love you guys!

Floor Debacle
There's a girl on my floor that keeps posting things about the packers. Then people erase it or comment or something, and it starts all over. It's quite entertaining. If we were all just respectful to everyone about their beliefs, and I mean this for anything, we would all get along better. ahem *cough* what?
Anyway. Classes are driving me up a wall. And I'm feeling super stressed. And I can't sleep. And yeah, it's no fun. Oh well, what'cha gonna do, eh? haha I'm so happy today is friday. Stats got cancelled so I only have 2 classes and then movie trivia tonight. I hope we're done in time so I can workout. I just want to sleep in on saturday, but I have a lot of homework and stuff I have to do because I won't have sunday night to do it. Argh. And my big is sick :/
On a brighter note, it's friday! And Alisha birthday is in a week. And I get to see my family in 2 weeks. And... And.. I should hopefully hear about Spirit In The Pines soon.. but I'm kinda nervous. And.. did I mention it's friday? And there's a phi theta chi thing this sunday where we decide if we want to pledge or not. At least, I THINK that's what it is. We truly don't get many details.

Welcome to True Minnesota
TODAY WAS GREAT :D
Except for the weather, what the heck was up with that?!?! Hehehe well wow, a lot of stuff happened. I had 3 classes, and I swear that Stark 103 had no heat. It . Was. Freezing. But that went well, I mean there's nothing new; it is school anyway. But then Alisha, Dani and I went to target and maurices and OMG SALES!! haha I am such a girl, but they were having a great sale where i got a shirt for almost 80% off. So fantastic. And then a bunch of us (Lindsey, Alisha, Dani, Kacey, Britt, Ashley and I) all went to Pi Lambs for a rush deal. I don't know how much I am truly allowed to say but it's so great :) I'm so excited to see what happens this weekend, they won't give us details. Oh well. Tonight we are just watching movies and doing homework and being lazy; perfect night.

Be An Optimist Prime :)
'Ello!
There's a sign in the UPAC office, and it says "Be an optimist prime, not a negatron." Best. Sign. Ever. Anyway, UPAC was.. well.. basically you sit in the office while listening to music and do homework. It's my "productive hour".
I actually learned something in class today. It was great! haha :) In personal and community health lab we were discussing the difference between male and female wellness. Did you know that teenage males are 10 times more like to have ADD? And teenage females are two times more likely to have an eating disorder? Also, women are twice as likely to develop depression; while males are five times more likely to become and alcoholic. It's crazy how much you learn in random classes. And the professor loved to pick on my friend Tracy and I. We had to try to memorize 20 names in 5 minutes, which was pretty hard because they're all different, and Tracy and I were talking so she jokingly called us cheaters. Long story short we are now the cheating twins. My goodness I love college classes.
In mugshots we had to create fake posters for "Bananas in Pajamas"... it definitely came out the way you would expect it from college students. Wow.. I just said that.. Anywho.. we now have to come up with ideas for our own mugshots that we put on. I was thinking valentines day, carnival, nerdy night, 60's, inside out, murder mystery/ clue, wild west or rock n' roll. Any ideas? For those that don't know, mugshots is live music that we have every thursday night and the class puts on 3 of their ideas.
** BLONDE MOMENT: i almost asked Sydnee if there was a time difference between her and I. I'm in Winona and she's in Eden Prairie. wow...

Let's Play Catch-Up
Hey all :)
My friend Kayla made a blog for her family and whoever to keep in touch with what she's doing and I think she's brilliant. I know that I don't get to talk to everybody all the time; I only get to see some of you when I am home. SO this is my solution. I will update every few days or so just so you know what's going on.
MY DAY:
Today I had class from 9-12 which wasn't bad. Then I did homework and hung out with the sorority I'm pledging for :) For those of you that don't know, I have been attending rush events for Phi Theta Chi (a local sorority and i LOVE IT). I might go to Delta Phi Epsilon next week, but it all depends on how this week turns out. Tonights activity was socializing with the TKE's (a frat) and eating grilled cheese and drinking hot chocolate. It was super fun :) All the sisters are really nice and accepting, like how high school should have been!! I mean, what? Anyway, so I did that then went to a karaoke bar with a BUNCH of friends. It was so great :) Then I finished homework. It was a fantastic day :)
For those of you that don't know about my spring semester, here's an update:
I am taking 18 credits this semester. The classes I am taking are Stats, geology, mass communication, personal and community health, English and mugshots. I am also a member of UPAC (university programing activities committee, we plan concerts and comedians and such), and am now rushing for a sorority. I have about an hour of homework for most of my classes.. if not 2-3 for my labs and once a week classes. I love being busy because it forces me to manage my time well!
As for roommates, i love them. Alisha is my best friend. Next year I am living in an apartment with my friends Kendra, Sam and Mark. It's pretty nice and I'm excited :)
Anyway, I should get to bed because I have office hours in the morning for UPAC. Love you all :)
